MEET THE DESIGNER
Sarah aka “Barker is an NCIDQ-certified Interior Designer with over 18 years of experience designing interior environments across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. With a background in marketing and brand development, she brings a strategic approach to design—creating spaces that not only function well, but clearly communicate a brand and purpose.
She specializes in corporate and commercial interiors, leading projects from concept through completion, including test fits and full office designs. Her work is defined by a rare combination of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and creative execution—bridging the gap between architecture, brand and experience to create environments that resonate long after they are built.
Barker is known for translating big ideas into thoughtful, tangible details. She believes that concept is central, and that the most successful spaces are those where every element works together to tell a cohesive story. She founded Central Design Company in 2020, where she extends this philosophy into product design—offering curated accessories, signage, and art that serve as the finishing layer of a space.
She has been an active member of the IIDA Rocky Mountain Chapter since 2005 and has contributed at the board level, helping establish graphic standards recognized internationally. She was also the Co-Founder of Denver Does Design, where she helped foster connection and collaboration within the design community.
